Baratho was formed by a team of mining professionals who hold extensive experience in the mining industry. The founders had a passion and a vision to form a diverse company that will be geared and be ready to tackle challenges that are presented by today’s hostile operational environment such as Health and Safety, Efficiencies, Compliances, Market Uncertainties including Cost Fluctuations . The Company has a pool of senior managing personnel who are specialists in the fields of FEL Studies (all levels), Mine Consulting, Project Management, Due Diligence, Engineering Services that include Civil, Mining, Electrical, Mechanical.

Baratho is further complimented by middle management personnel who are specialists in the services such as Lifting (including fixed and mobile cranes), Roadway Construction, Line Boring for Trackless Mobile Machinery, Underground Mine Maintenance, Mine Planning, Drill and Blast, Mine Survey (Open pit and Underground). Baratho is 100% black owned and holds level 1 B-BBEE status. Baratho is a Northern Sotho term which means brethren in arms.
